The Esplanade Hotel towards the southern end of the Promenade is a beautiful Victorian building that, in their words, has three rooms allocated for the 'physically challenged'.


Royal Hotel and Leisure Centre. Situated at the north end of Main Street dominates the skyline as you approach from Castle Street and across the river Dodder.  This hotel has a long history dating back as far as the 18th. century when a coaching inn was built on the site.


Heather House Hotel and Martello Lounge is a lively hotel on the seafront.  It offers limited access to wheelchairs but has a number of fully accessible apartments in the attached Aparthotel. The ground floor bar and eating areas are accessible.


The Wilton Hotel (formerly the Ramada Hotel) is situated at the south end of the town with easy access to the M11/M50.  This is a modern accessible hotel that offers good value accommodation and food.




The Strand Hotel is a small family run hotel overlooking the beach. It has an accessible bar to the front and serves a carvery lunch each day.
